But it was recently announced that Todd Palin and Sarah Palin are going to split, painfully after three decades of marriage. It was found out that Todd Palin filed for divorce at Alaska’s courthouse last Friday. The Friday was also Todd Palin’s birthday.
According to a copy of his divorce, Todd Palin has reflected that the couple is finding it hard or more precisely impossible to live together as wife and husband. It was seen that the divorce was dated 27th August. There is no statement that the split has anything to do with Sarah’s political career.
In August of 1988, Sarah and Todd have tied the knot. The news of their split has made people sad because it was the first time the couple has publicly revealed their disputes. Sarah Palin and Todd Palin are parents to five children, Track (30), Bristol (28), Willow (25), Piper (18), and Trig (11).
Todd Palin has revealed that he is trying to get joint custody of Trig, according to the complaint registered on the divorce file. Todd has made a statement that he and Sarah are going to distribute their assets equally without fail and discrimination. The divorce stated that this joint custody has been for the best interest of the minor child. The divorce has further stated that Todd Palin is also requesting shared physical custody.
In 2006, Sarah Palin was elected as the Governor of Alaska. But she later turned to become a reality star. Sarah Palin then went on to be named as one of the USA’s ten most Fascinating people by Barbara Walters in the year 2008. The conservative duo lost to Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama. Sarah Palin then went on to be selected as one of Time’s most influential people in the year 2010.
