Season one of Tokyo Revengers aired from April 2021 to September 2021, and had 24 episodes. It follows a 20-something freelancer named Takemichi Hanagaki who worked a dead-end job as a bookstore clerk with nothing to look forward to in life. This was until he finds out that Hina Tachibana, his former middle school classmate and the only girl he had ever dated in his life, was killed by the Tokyo Manji gang. The day after he saw the news, Takemichi was standing on the railway platform when someone pushed him to the tracks. He knew that he was going to die, but when he opens his eyes, he was mysteriously transported back in time by 12 years, and he’s now a middle-school student again. But this time, he has a mission. He should stop running away from everything that has been scaring him and instead do everything in his power to save Hina and the members of the Tokyo Manji gang so that the nightmarish future can be erased.

A release date hasn’t been revealed for season 2 of Tokyo Revengers, but we can expect an announcement in the coming months.
