Keanu Reeves is Batman in the Super Pets Movie, See Trailer Below

Hopefully not a John Wick moment again

A new teaser has come out for DC League of Super-Pets and it’s all about Ace, and his new owner Batman. The new clip is extra special since Keanu Reeves will be voicing the Dark Knight. Reeves’ casting was announced along with the movie announcement, but his role was kept under wraps. And let’s just say, Reeves can bring out Batman’s serious side in completely hilarious situations. Ace is of course, voiced by Kevin Hart just as brilliantly.

The trailer opens with Batman and Ace talking about their tragic pasts, and realizing they are made for each other. Batman is a character who is serious in even the funniest situations, and the new clip promises a lot of that. He even makes a reference to Morgan Freeman’s role in The Dark Knight trilogy. Warner Bros. also added Danny Elfman’s iconic 1989 theme to the clip. Their marketing strategy is also smart, releasing the clip after the world premiere of Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

So far, the entire cast for Super-Pets has not been announced. We know that Krypto the Super-Dog will be voiced by Dwayne Johnson, and Superman will be voiced by John Krasinski. The movie will also star Natasha Lyonne as Merton, The Flash’s speedy turtle. Vanessa Bayer stars as PB the pig, Wonder Woman’s pet. Finally, Diego Luna will voice Ch’p, a squirrel with electrical powers, and Green Lantern’s pet.

Lex Luthor will be the villain, and Marc Maron will voice him. The movie additionally stars Kate McKinnon, Ben Schwartz, Thomas Middleditch and Jameela Jamil. It’s safe to assume that they will mostly voice Justice League members.
