‘Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro’ Announces Season 2 With an Official Poster

The timid senior and sadistic junior will return

Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro is officially renewed for a second season! 2021 had some pretty good animes debuting, and competition was stiff for the Spring 2021 releases. Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro was something that fans had wanted to see as an anime, and it turned out to be just as much as a hit as the manga.

The anime debuted in Spring and ended up after 12 episodes with no signs of continuity. However, it was inevitable that it gets a second season thanks to the huge reception. And now, the official Twitter account has just shared the good news with a poster. Unfortunately, we have no news about the cast and crew, but the new visual was from the original character designer, Misaki Suzuki.

In one sentence, the series can be summed up as ‘A girl in the lower grade made me cry!’ A teenage boy, described only as “Senpai” visits the library one day to get some reading done before heading home. Unfortunately, he becomes the target of a super sadistic junior and her equally rowdy friends. Nagatoro, the annoying junior then makes it the highlight of her day to tease and bully her Senpai. And as annoying as he found her, he decides to remain her friend.

Telecom Animation Film released the first season of the Miss Nagatoro anime adaptation earlier this year in April. So it’s safe to assume that season two will also debut somewhere around that time. And if the character designer is on board the project, the rest of the cast and studio will also follow suit.
