The actor was criticized further with brands saying, ‘he handled the crisis with zero professionalism’
South Korean actor Kim Seon-Ho was trending all through this month but he doesn’t look to be getting out of it anytime soon. After his ex-girlfriend stepped forward with various claims against the actor, he was removed from multiple projects. The Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha star even got fired from various advertisements. He accepted the allegations made by his ex, but only a few days after it took the internet by storm.
What the brands had to say?
Before the actor confirmed the news officially, he was removed from some commercials. Fans were outraged and slammed the advertisers for ‘acting hastily when nothing has been confirmed.’ A brand representative stepped forward to clarify the decision and shared what really happened.
Speaking to Sports Chosun, the person said that when the scandal broke, they tried to get in touch with him and his agency the whole day. They went on and said that having more endorsements means following more terms and conditions. “And after seeing how little he cared for his responsibilities as a model binded by contract with us, we realized it would be impossible to continue working with him.” Kim Seon-Ho was accused for handling the crisis with zero professionalism and maturity, so they had no choice but to reconsider their contract.
Not officially fired yet
The rep added that it will be difficult for him to rebuild the trust with all the other brands, and has rapidly lost his brand value. However, none of these brands have officially come forward, saying their contracts with the actor has been terminated. We will have to see whether the public forgives him for his past actions.
