The series will be premiering on Disney+ March 19
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s episode lengths have been revealed to be between 45 and 55 minutes. The upcoming series will be the follow-up to WandaVision, which showed a whole new side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Compared to that, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be a more straightforward show, given the nature of the characters and the villains, but the hype is high all the same. Aside from the return of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, other MCU characters like Baron Helmut Zemo and Sharon Carter will also be returning.

The story will be based on Sam and Bucky coming into terms with the fact that Steve Rogers is no longer Captain America and how they’re going to adjust to this ever-changing world. Sharon will also have a say in that matter, since Steve went back to live with her great-aunt, Agent Peggy Carter.
The show was to premiere in 2020 but got delayed due to the pandemic. But the MCU was back in action in early 2021 and MCU head Kevin Feige revealed that the show will have six episodes of around 40-50 minutes. But the recent news show a different length. The new information was given during a New York Times interview, but it’s still a relatively minor difference.
Same size as WandaVision
WandaVision started off small, as it was paying homages to classic sitcoms. As the story progressed, it started focusing on the reality of things and the episodes grew bigger. Some fans theorised a surprise feature film, but that didn’t happen.
With 45-55 minutes per episode, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be about the same size as WandaVision, and will have a different structure for fans to enjoy.
