Black Clover has hinted on a new source that is behind Yuno’s wind magic in the latest chapter. Written by Yuki Tabata, the new chapter shows a new climax on the Raid on the Spade Kingdom arc. The first two of the Zogratis siblings are now defeated, and Zenon is the only one left. With his defeat, the Advent of Qliphoth can be stopped. But that’s next to impossible as Zenon is backed by the devil’s power and is a lot stronger than his siblings.

Yuno’s new grimoire

Yuno’s struggles in the battle has made him realise that the time he got to prepare wasn’t enough. He is one who can get stronger with more ease, but still suffers from an inferiority complex. But thanks to his new acquired thanks to his connections to the Spade Kingdom, he was able to unlock new powers.

However, his origins is still a question of doubt. His Clover Kingdom grimoire suggests that he was descended from elves. When elves took over his body, it was teased that he is the son of Licht and Tetia and was never quite able to survive as elves were wiped out by humans. This could be the reason for the massive amounts of mana he possesses. But recent chapters and his new grimoire indicate that the reason for his power is because he has royal blood. And finally, chapter 308 states that both are quite true.

As Yuno got the second grimoire from the Spade Kingdom, Patry was one of the warriors who saw the light from the heavens cast on him. Patry thought that his wind magic resembled Licht and Tetia’s at that time. His bloodlines are even more impressive than before and might soon turn Yuno into one of the most powerful characters.

How do you think this will affect his rivalry with Asta?
