The DMR is said to be so strong, it can wipe out a whole squad in seconds
If you are familiar with Call of Duty: Warzone, you must be aware of the notorious DMR 14. You might’ve used it yourself, or you might’ve been at the business end of it, and died before collecting your thoughts.
The DMR 14 was added to the battle royale after Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Blacks Ops Cold War was integrated into the Warzone meta. Saying the gun is powerful is an understatement. Getting your hands on a DMR gets you one step closer to victory, and it’s scattered throughout the map.
The gun is a semi-auto tactical rifle, with increased fire rate and minimum recoil to top it off. It packs a devastating amount of damage and can down enemies in a second. In fact it’s so powerful that with accurate aim, you can down a whole squad. It has the right amount of range as well – enemies are down before they can figure out where you’re firing from.

Warzone has had powerful weapons before, but this is a whole new level of power. Gun balance is currently knocked out and previous weapons have become sort of obsolete, with all the Black Ops Cold War weapons dominating. The community predicted that this would happen. At close range, their MAC-10 SMG is the best, and so is the Diamatti with Akimbo equipped. The DMR 14 covers the rest.
Gamers have taken to Reddit and are expressing their disapproval through memes. They had been saying that even though Warzone added 30 new guns, there are fewer guns to use than before. We can only hope that Raven Software, which is running Warzone, solves the issue by adjusting the new set of guns.
