Will the original cast return in next season of Doctor Who? Find the release date and other updates.

News for Doctor Who Fans! Good or bad, decide for yourself.

Don’t expect season 13 to arrive until early 2021 at the very earliest. It’s not all bad news, though. Doctor Who will return before then in a festival special called ‘Revolution of the Daleks.’

WHEN WILL IT AIR?

As you might have guessed, those lovable tin cans will be back around Christmas. Well, we don’t know exactly when the festive special of a turn, we expect to see it maybe around Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve at the very latest.

WHO’S COMING BACK?

Most doctors tend to bow out after just three seasons, so it came as a surprise when Jodie Whittaker confirmed that she would be back for season 13.

What we don’t know yet is who is going to be joining her. Mandip Gill seems keen but a big question mark hanging over Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole because of harbor projects.

Chosen who plays Ryan has a new show line up in America called 61st street, and that’s scheduled to air sometime in later 2020. Bradley, who plays Graham, also has a lot on his plate because he’s hosted in the ITV game show. So, don’t be surprised if they both end up leaving the show around Christmas time in the festive special.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

It is safe to say that the timeless child reveal raised a lot of big questions. We know that the doctor doesn’t come from Gallifrey at all. The big question is, where does she come from? Is she a Time Lord? And why is the division chasing her?

Season 12 brought some big fan favorites. You’ve got Cybermen, Captain Jack Harkness, the master. So, don’t be surprised if you see a few of them pop up and return in season 13.
