A laid down detailed investigation lead New York Police Department’s Internal Affairs Bureau concludes that the 72nd Precinct Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez did tell his officer to shoot 50 Cent, but as a joke. The case is closed now.
Back in the year June 2017, Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez passed a remark which he claimed to be done as “joke.” During a morning roll call before a police-run boxing event in the Bronx, the deputy inspector told his officers to shoot 50 Cent “on sight,” if he was seen at the spot of the game.
Curtis James Jackson III, who has professionally adapted the name ’50 Cent’, is a Jamaican origin American singer, rapper, actor, songwriter, producer and an entrepreneur. He was a drug seller during his teenage years but turned into a great musician later in his life. Winning several awards and working with famous rappers and singers like Eminem, Dr. Dre, Akon, Chris Brown and many more, 50 Cent has sold over 30 million albums of his.
I knew they were not going to do anything about this,so I stop talking about it. NYPD is hands down the toughest gang in New York. You just gotta be ready for what ever. You know the vibes. #TheKing🍾 #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac pic.twitter.com/lBolamFcTV

The president of the NYPD Captains Endowment Association claimed that the allegations put against Emanuel were “completely false.” In his defense, the president said that 50 Cent was the one who had jeopardized the safety of the Inspector and his family through a threatening tweet last year which called for violence. He referred to a tweeter post that was deleted from the site which allegedly seemed to threaten a police officer. The rapper, however, took the threat seriously and took legal actions against Gonzalez. The rapper further called named the Inspector as the “dirty cop!”.
Nevertheless, it seems that neither 50 Cent, not Gonzalez severely made their remarks. Each of the two was “joking” while commenting against the security of the other though it might be predicted that future awaits some more controversy involving these two.
