The train cars are connected via magnetic couplings. The panels of the parlor can be opened to an interior with table, armchairs, teapot, and cup. Inside the train station, there is an array of intricate brick-built furnishings, including draped windows, wall clock, and a ceiling chandelier. The locomotive has a sizeable red fender, red wheels with working coupling rods, a big smokestack and a driver’s cab.

The tower section holds a LEGO surprise – a tiny mini-figure scale version of the 2016 Disney Castle set’s packaging.
