Disney is all set to bring a new princess in its family. On the auspicious occasion of Hanukkah, the entertainment tycoon is bringing on television a Jewish Princess, the first of its kind.

On 17th September 2019, the grand announcement was made by the franchise of introducing the first Jewish princess in the family of ‘Disney Princesses.’ The episode will telecast on Disney Junior channel’s appreciated show ‘Elena of Avalor.’ The event will be a ‘Hanukkah Special’ one.‘ Elena of Avalor’ is an animated television series launched by the Disney Channel in the year 2016. The first episode was streamed on July 22, 2016, on Disney Channel which later on, in 2018, changed its ground to Disney Junior.

The story revolves around a Latin princess named, Elena Castillo Flores, who had to undertake the enormous task of protecting her magical kingdom from the hands of an evil sorceress. Being only of 16, the princess had to take the responsibility of her entire kingdom on her tender shoulders. In this journey of her, she has her grandparents, older cousin, and friends beside her. Jamie-Lynn Sigler will do the voice-over for the newest princess. The episode of ‘Elena of Avalor,’ featuring Jamie’s voice character will be a special episode celebrating the festival of Hanukkah, where the first appearance of the Jewish princess will be shown. The princess will be shown coming from a kingdom named ‘Latino Jewish kingdom’ for visiting Elena during the festival.

The name of the Jewish princess is not yet revealed, nor any further description of the character. However, the fans are incredibly eager to witness the new member on the screens. The kids, as well as their pare ts, have expressed their excitement over social media.No particular date has been mentioned from the side of the Disney franchise. The only news which up mentions the introduction of the character in December in season three of ‘Elena of Avalor.’
