The movie is grabbing eyeballs with its interesting story and all-star lead

Netflix’s Red Notice has just released its official first trailer, and it was action-packed and funny throughout. The unlikely duo of Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds are ready to deliver one of the biggest movies of the year. So buckle up.

The story

Red Notice
Netflix

After getting unveiled at the TUDUM event, we now have a proper look into the movie with this trailer. Johnson stars as grizzled FBI agent John Hartley, who enlists the help of second biggest international art thief Nolan Booth, played by Reynolds. Their mission will be to track down the number one art thief Sarah Black, played by Gadot. Black had once set Hartley up for a crime he didn’t commit and he ended up behind bars. Their mission will be to clear Hartley’s name, and in exchange, he helps Booth become the number one thief again.

Their attempt to restore themselves to their former glories take them on a wild chase across several countries and numerous encounters with the law. We see elaborate set pieces and a never ending banter between Reynolds and Johnson. The movie promises to be a mismatched buddy comedy mixed in a heist, and can be something to look forward to.

Many reunions

Red Notice
Netflix

Red Notice is a reunion movie, of sorts. Both Reynolds and Johnson have starred together in 2019’s Fast and Furious spin-off, Hobbs and Shaw. Meanwhile, Johnson had starred with Gadot in Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6. The movie is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who starred Johnson in his previous movies, Central Intelligence and Skyscraper.

Red Notice will debut on Netflix on November 12.
