James Gunn shared some Major insight about Guardians of the Galaxy vol.3!! Thor and Nebula are together to kick start a new phase?

Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy’s first installment, which was released in 2014 and the second installment, which was released in 2017, were huge box office hits. The Guardians of the Galaxy franchise was led by Chris Pratt’s charismatic character Peter Quill and had Zoe Saldana playing Gamora along with Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel, giving his voice for Groot and Bradley Cooper giving his voice for Rocket.

In both the installments of the Guardians of the Galaxy, one main character was bidding farewell, first Groot, then Yondu. It is already heartbreaking to even imagine that another member of the Guardians of Galaxy will be bidding farewell in the third installment. Though director James Gunn has not revealed anything of significance, he has not denied the claim either.

Before the Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, James Gunn has revealed that the third installment of the film could possibly bring an end to major key elements but also kick-starting an all-new chapter for the space team.

James Gunn explained that the third installment of Guardians of the Galaxy would conclude the story of this iteration and that it will also help catapult both new and old characters of Marvel Cinematic Universe into the next years and beyond that.

But fans have speculated that whatever the team is going to be after the third installment of Guardians of the Galaxy, it will be completely different than the team that was initially introduced in the 2014 movie.

As expected, the core team is going to make its return, and we might expect another supporting member to join the team, just like how Mantis has joined the team in the second installment. Though at the end of Avengers: Endgame, we saw Thor and Nebula joining the team, it is still not sure if he is going to hang in there long enough.
