Hurray! Fourth Installment of Keanu Reeves’ famous sci-fi movie series Matrix is in the making. Reeves teases fans saying the movie “is very ambitious”

Keanu Reeves is all set to return as Neo in the fourth installment of the famous sci-fi Matrix franchise. It was confirmed back in August that the actor will be reprising his role alongside Carrie-Anne Moss(Trinity), with director Lana Wachowski.

Our “Internet Boyfriend” has already read the script of Matrix 4. He told Entertainment Tonight that the movie is very ambitious as it should be. The new sequel does not yet have an official title. Warner Bros. Group chairman Toby Emmerich announced that they are thrilled that Lana was writing and directing the new chapter in The Matrix universe.

The Matrix was released in 1999, winning four Oscars, with its sequel The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions hitting the theatres in 2003. Keanu Reeves soared to the heights of his career with these movies.

The fate of Keanu Reeves character Neo was left somewhat ambiguous in the finale of the last installment. After a long battle with Agent, Smith Neo agrees to convert into one of the clones. Immediately after, a surge of energy is passed through his body that kills Agent Smith.

The collective earnings of the original Matrix and its two sequels were a whooping sum of $1.6 billion at the worldwide box office. Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss played their respective characters in all three chapters of the Matrix series, each one directed by Lana and Lilly Wachowski. In addition to writing and directing Wachowski will produce the upcoming project. The release date of the movie is not yet released. The shooting of the movie is expected to begin the mid-2020.

The fans are excited about the movie. They are eagerly waiting to watch their favorite actor on the big screen again as Neo. The movie has a lot to keep up. It has to maintain the legacy and popularity it created 20 years ago.
