Love, Beth is a half-hour, 10- episode series under Hulu’s upcoming shows. The streamer has announced this news on Friday as a part of Hulu’s TCA presentation. Love, Beth is expected to be launched in late 2020.
Other executive producers of Love, Beth includes her younger sister, Kim Caramele and Kevin Kane. Back in March, Amy Schumer has released her comedy special, ‘Amy Schumer Growing’ on Netflix. This show has received a lot of praise for the way Amy handled her husband’s autism diagnosis.
Amy Schumer is going to debut as an actress with ‘Love, Beth’ in a television series since her Comedy Central series, ‘Inside Amy Schumer’, which was signed back in 2016. In the series ‘Inside Amy Schumer,’ Schumer has starred, wrote, executive produced and wrote the series along with directing multiple episodes of the series. In this series, Amy Schumer has discussed topics like her marriage and pregnancy, the way she took care of them.
Amy Schumer also starred in the film ‘Trainwreck’, which she also happens to write. When Trainwreck was released in 2015, it grossed over $140 million around the globe.
‘Love, Beth’ is going to come from Endeavor Content and shows off Schumer’s first-look deal with Hulu. Hulu clarified that further details about the series, Love, Beth, will be announced on a later date.
At the same time, Hulu announced some big news. The presentation from Hulu also included ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ which is getting ready for its fourth season, and news of the Oscar winner Mahershala Ali joining Ramy for its second season.
‘Shrill,’ ‘PEN15’ and ‘Ramy’ are currently the ones that are occupying Hulu’s comedy slate. Hulu also announced that it has recently acquired ‘Letterkenny,’ a Canadian comedy series. ‘Letterkenny’ which is going to come back as one of the Hulu originals will release its upcoming seventh season.
