The Hollaback Girl is returning as a judge after a short stint away from television
Get ready to see Gwen Stefani make her return as a judge in everyone’s favourite NBC singing competition The Voice. Stefani is said to replace Nick Jonas, but Jonas hasn’t commented on the switch-up as of now.
The show’s official Twitter account announced on Tuesday, June 16th that Stefani will be joining other judges Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend in the show’s ninth season.

Stefani has been part of the competition for a long time and it has remained close to her heart. In fact, that’s where she met current boyfriend Blake Shelton and started dating in 2015. She has spoken about the excitement she feels every time she has to return as a coach and help some wonderful talents to grow and flourish.

Stefani said that the excitement never goes away as the producers always reveal the news at the last minute, as if they almost want you to beg to take them back as a coach.
We will be seeing Stefani competing once again with the other coaches and their talents. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Blake spoke about how much his relationship with Stefani had changed him. He spoke about how he was a jerk to everyone, and all that changed afte meeting her.
Then Stefani interrupted saying all the changes she went through thanks to Shelton. She spoke about how this was something that she never expected at a late stage in her life, but they are enjoying every moment together.
