Stephen King, the King of Horror, is all set to pen down an extra and indeed the last chapter of the series ‘The Stand.’
Stephen Edward King, the American author, has his works on genres of horror, suspense, science fictions, supernatural fiction, and fantasy. Known famously as the ‘King of Horror,’ the author has 350+ million copies of his books sold. Quite a number of his works have been adapted for television series, miniseries, comic books, and feature films. Till date, Stephen has six non-fiction books and 58 novels published, 7 of which are published under his pen name Richard Bachman.
‘The Stand’ is an American horror television miniseries adapted from the novel of Stephen King having the same name. The miniseries was launched in the year 1994. Stephen penned the teleplay for this miniseries and even has a small part to play in it. The cast included Gary Sinise, Miguel Ferrer, Rob Lowe, Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Jamey Sheridan, Laura San Giacomo, Molly Ringwald, Corin Nemec, Adam Storke, Ray Walston, Ed Harris, and Matt Frewer. ‘The Stand’ was directed by Mic Garris and was first aired on 8th of May, 1994 on ABC.
Eight episodes of ‘The Stand’ was streamed on CBS All Access. Now with the news of the launch of the ninth and the final event, the fans are enormously excited for all the wondered was what happens next in the miniseries, which even the could not answer since it ended at chapter eight. The ninth episode is being penned down exclusively for the visual media.
