September 10, 2019, marked the announcement of the concert of David Lee Roth at the desert of Las Vegas. The legendary rock singer will perform at House of Blues next year, from January. The performance is set at the Mandalay Bay and Casino.
David Lee Roth is an infamous musician, songwriter, actor, and an author too. The former lead vocalist of Van Halen, a hard rock band, David was also known for his performances on radio. He was also quite renowned for his several solo songs that were certified as Gold and Platinum albums. David was with the band from 1974 to 1985, after which he moved out to make his solo career. Later on, in 2006, Lee re-joined the group, and the entire troop went for their North American Tour, that broke all the earlier records of the band and emerged to be the highest-grossing tour. After several years, Van Halen launched their album ‘A Different Kind of Truth,’ that established itself pretty well as their ‘comeback’ album.
Covering a total of nine shows, Lee is all prepared to jump across the House of Blues, singing his way from January to March.
The dates which are set for the shows are 8th, 10th, and 11th of January, 18th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 27th and 28th of March, 20020. The tickets for the show will be made available from Saturday.
The remaining troop of the hard rock band, Van Halen, will not be there with David for the tour; however, plenty of songs of the band will surely be on the list of the lead vocalist. As Roth quotes, “A weekend with me is interactive way beyond just music. It starts with the best food on Earth. The fellas smoke their three cigarettes for the year, and we all stay up way past our bedtime!”.
