Capri is Vanessa and Kobe Bryant’s youngest, born in June 2019
Back in May, Vanessa Bryant took a video of her and late husband Kobe Bryant’s daughter Capri, who took her first steps just a month before her first birthday.

In the video we can see Capri sitting on Vanessa’s sister Sophie’s lap before slowly getting up and taking a few steps to her mother’s arms, with everyone enthusiastically clapping around her. “I’m so proud of you!” Vanessa says, as she hugs and kisses the toddler.
The proud mom captioned it, “My baby!!!! So proud of my Koko Bean Capri took her first steps from her auntie Sophie to mama today.”

Life without Kobe and Gianna
Vanessa, 38, regularly updates her followers with pictures of her daughter’s Capri, Natalia,17 and Biank, 3, on her social media accounts, following the Calabasas helicopter crash in January that took the lives of nine people, including Kobe and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna.
The months following were bittersweet, as she had to spend Mother’s Day without her husband and daughter. But she got a book from Natalia, Bianka, and Capri titled Why I Love My Mom. She posted it on her Instagram stories thanking her daughters. Her eldest daughter Natalia also shared a collage of photos to celebrate the day.

Vanessa also shared images of the various gifts and bouquets she received from her friends and well wishers including ones from Rachel Zoe, Ciara, Gabrielle Union, and Dwayne Wade.
April had also been a bittersweet month as she had to celebrate Easter and their wedding anniversary without Kobe, and Kobe was also inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. His sports fantasy novel Season One also became a New York Times Best Seller.
