Shyamalan’s success
Shyamalan’s movies have amassed more than $3.3 billion at the global box office over the past 20 years. Glass was one of his most-talked about films in recent years, and earned $250 million globally. The film’s overseas distribution was handled by Disney. It was the culmination of The Eastrail 177 Trilogy. It began with 2000’s Unbreakable, and followed with Split and Glass. Split earned $278.5 million in 2017, and The Visit earned $98.4 million. His most recent, Old, earned $90.1 million at the global box office. The numbers were affected significantly due to the pandemic.
About Knock at the Cabin
Very little is known about Shyamalan’s next project, and it will continue to be like that for some time. After all, the movie will only release in 2023, and we are at least a year away from a trailer. He had completed the draft of the movie and announced it on August 30. He mentioned that it was “Super tight” and “Under a 100 pages.” Shyamalan knows how to stay tight-lipped about his movies, so we can expect the same for this as well. For example, most audiences didn’t even realize that Split was a sequel to Unbreakable.
Let’s hope Knock at the Cabin proves to be yet another remarkable thriller from Shyamalan.
