Log in to get some major Halloween goodies
Bungie has kicked off the Halloween event for their flagship game Destiny 2. Known as the Festival of the Lost, the event will go on until November 2. What’s new is this year’s festival will take place in a new location. Bungie has moved on from the Infinite Forest and set up Haunted Sectors on the Moon.
The enemies you will meet on each of the Haunted Sectors will have jack-o-lanterns for heads, and candies will be earned with each kill you make. The candies can be used to unlock event-exclusive items like masks, cosmetics, and more. Bungie has described the Haunted sectors storyline as follows: A Vex and an Exo Mind have combined to form something new, a Guardian of Nessus is being hunted for their Ghost, and headless creatures now roam the moon. Grab your favourite mask, join a fireteam, and set out on three new stories of terror.
Thr featured weapon for this year’s Festival of the Lost is the Jurassic Green pulse rifle. #TeamDino ornament sets are also available for purchase at the Evervserse store. Players can also purchase a new Exotic GHost SHell, Exotic Sparrow, Exotic Ship and emblem, which are all Halloween-themed. Torn pages from the Book of the Forgotten are available for players to find, with which they can discover lore about memorable characters in the Destiny universe.
