Kelly Ripa’s friends call her by a different name! What is it? Check it out.

Being known by two names is nothing new in Hollywood

We are used to thinking Kelly Ripa uses the same name everywhere, as thats the name we know her by. But recently we got to see that the 49-year-old television host goes by another name with some, if not all her friends.

What’s in a name?

Kelly Ripa recently posted screenshots of a FaceTime she had with one of her close friends Elsa Collins, as many of us are catching up with our friends during this quarantine period. Followers of the Live with Kelly and Ryan show host got to enjoy the two chatting while eating snacks, and that’s when many noticed Ripa’s contact name saved in Collins’s phone.

Instead of “Kelly Ripa,” her name was “Kelly Consuelos” referring to her husband Mark Consuelos’ surname. The name isn’t surprising as Kelly and Mark are one of Hollywood’s best and long lasting couples, and Mark still makes surprise appearances in her show which she co-hosts with Ryan Seacrest. But we have always been seeing Ripa, and it’s been so since the start of her successful career in entertainment so it’s understandable why she wants to stick to that name professionally.

There are still pictures available of the two FaceTiming and in the first we see Elsa eating a bran muffin while trying to connect to her friend Kelly Consuelos, and captioned the image, “How I do coffee with friends…”, and Collins keeps on eating throughout the video chat. Ripa captioned the second picture,”Glamorous @elsanariecollins who eats carbs, and me the old dude in the corner.”

For those who are unaware who Ms. Collins is, she’s the Co-founder of The Ideateur, a social impact and political consulting group focused on sports, culture and the entertainment space, helping clients construct a strategy to address the issues they care about.
