“There’s my belly, y’all”, says the mum-to-be
Gigi Hadid is expecting her first child with Zayn Malik and recently came on Instagram Live on Wednesday and showed her baby belly, but insisted on keeping pregnancy talks to a minimum as she felt that there are more important things to talk about.

She was able to keep her fans excited however. She came live to promote her Gigi Journal II which she’s doing in association with V Magazine. She was wearing a simple nightdress and unbottoned the top and turned sideways so that everyone gets to see it and to show that she’s not trying to hide it, as some may suggest.
More pressing matters to address
Hadid acknowledged that there are people who are confused that she’s not posting or talking about her pregnancy, but she said that it’s because her pregnancy is “not the most important thing going on in the world.” The 25-year-old went on to say that she never felt the need to talk about it with anyone apart from her family and friends.

She spoke about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and Black Lives Matter protests, both situations where people had lost their lives, and wanted her social media presence to be used for that.
But Gigi reassured her fans and said that she will be posting something related to her pregnancy soon, but now’s not the time, as it’s not appropriate. She said she’s in the mind to experience it, and not post it on social media and try to look cute. But she is still writing all her experiences in her journal, and hopefully the fans will get to read about it one day.
