Matt Reeves’ The Batman is making everyone excited way before its release date. Different actors were cast and Warner Bros. confirmed their roles. Recently The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Gil Perez-Abraham will also be joining the cast of The Batman. His role has not been revealed yet and there is no evidence of his character being on the good side or the bad side.

How will his character play out in the movie?

DC Comics/First Encounter Productions

The Batman as told by Matt Reeves will be a movie driven through point-of-view and will be featured as a noir Batman story. Batman who is played by Robert Pattinson will probably be investigating some sort of case in this storyline. This arc of tracking down criminals and solving a case will allow Batman’s character to go through a transformation, said Reeves.

Taking this into account, Perez-Abraham’s role in the movie could be important to its plot. The plot may be based on the comic series which hasn’t been revealed to the public just yet. The Batman is rumoured to be adapted from the popular comic series Batman: The Long Halloween. Photos from the shooting of the movie also prove it to be true.

What character is he playing?

Perez-Abraham might be playing the role of Alberto Falcone. Alberto Falcone is the son of Carmine Falcone, who is a mob boss in the comics. Alberto was supposedly indicated as The Holiday Killer who killed mobsters and the citizens of Gotham according to the theme of different holidays. Though Alberto wasn’t confirmed to be The Holiday Killer and it was indicated that another character was also involved in the killings.

Perez-Abraham could also play other characters from The Long Halloween like Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow, Calendar Man who is a killer like The Holiday Killer, Johnny Viti who is Alberto Falcone’s cousin and the first victim, or Joe Chill the one who killed Martha and Bruce Wayne. In the Batman suit reveal the Bat-symbol was made from the gun used by Joe Chill.
