Small Town Drama “Virgin River” is Coming Back for Season 2 on Netflix.

Virgin River which is produced by Reel Media and is featured on the streaming service Netflix has been renewed for its second season. The show has become a fan-favourite and is successful among its genre of small-town romantic drama. The series is based on Robyn Carr’s novel series called Virgin River. The first season of the series was released on Netflix on 6th December 2019. It was shortly thereafter announced that the second season will also be released.

Virgin River is about the story of Melinda “Mel” Monroe who starts a new life in a small town in California called Virgin River. She leaves Los Angeles to work as a midwife and nurse in the small town. At the start, it is difficult to adjust to the new environment. Things from her past still haunt her and it is not easy for her to forget them soo soon. She realises she has to heal herself first before Virgin River becomes her new abode.

When is season 2 coming?

Good news for fans Netflix had previously declared that Virgin River will have its second season. The first season consisted of ten episodes, similarly, the second season will also have ten episodes.

Netflix has not shared a release date for the second season of Virgin River. But it is speculated that it will be released around November or December 2020. Fans are waiting eagerly for the new season and can’t hide their excitement. They have been showing their enthusiasm and their love for the show through various social media platforms like Twitter.

The cast of the first season had Alexandra Breckenridge (Mel Monroe), Martin Henderson (Jack Sheridan), Colin Lawrence (John Middleton), Jenny Cooper (Joey Barnes), Lauren Hammersley (Charmaine Roberts), Annette O’Toole (Hope McCrea), and Tim Matheson (Vernon Mullins).

Up until now, there has been no trailer for season two. In the next couple of months, Netflix might release the trailer.
