We are expecting a 2022 release for the series
One of the most surprising anime announcements this year was the return of The Devil is a Part-Timer! season 2.
The fantasy comedy series released its first season in 2013, and fans loved it. But with no activity in the years that followed, they pretty much gave up on it. Meanwhile, the manga written by Satoshi Wagahara and illustrated by Oniku came to an end in 2020. Perhaps the makers were awaiting the manga’s completion as the series is fairly small.
Recent reports
Reports from the anime’s next update comes from a fan page called AnimeTV_JP. If what they say is true, we have an announcement coming on December 12, almost a month from now.
Fans were hyped when the trailer dropped without any prior leaks, so they are waiting patiently for the anime to arrive. As we have seen in the trailer, we will get some new characters, the most important one being a toddler. We are also excited to see what the Satan is up to at his part-time job in MgRonald’s.
With the first announcement of The Devil is a Part-Timer, we got a teaser as well as a key visual. The art styles are now more in tune with the manga. Fans are waiting for a trailer that tells us more about the story or at least a new key visual.
Previous studio’s involvement
We are not aware if White Fox, the previous studio is involved with this season of The Devil is a Part-Timer. The first season’s director, Naoto Hosoda has also been quiet about recent developments. The stars usually remain mum, so we cannot expect any reports from them.
But no matter what, we will be getting the new season of The Devil is a Part-Timer next year, and we can look forward to any new announcements that come our way.
