All about crows
Dead by Daylight has a reputation for offering content based on popular horror franchises, including films like Halloween, Stranger Things and Scream. But this time, developer Behaviour Interactive is taking a different approach. The studio has released a new teaser for a new season. Called Portrait of a Murder, it featured the cawing of craws accompanied by a drop of ink. They captioned it by writing, “Ink dries faster than blood.”

Leaked chapters
Sometime last week, two upcoming chapters from the new season was leaked on Reddit. It indicated that the upcoming Chapter 22 would be called “Crow’s Nest.” Despite having something to do with crows, that would’ve been a working title. And seeing that it fell somewhere in the ballpark, the source is now considered credible.
But Chapter 22 seems to be the only unique one we will be seeing. Because the creators seem to be diving back into familiar horror territory with Chapter 23 as it seems to have content based on James Wan’s The Conjuring franchise. Dead by Daylight can be considered the Fortnite of horror, as it not only adapts popular horror movies or series, but games too. In the past, they had events based on Resident Evil and Silent Hill, two very popular horror titles.
The game’s history
Dead by Daylight came out in 2016, but continues to be a hit in the gaming community. It got the Google Stadia adaptation on April 17, 2020, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions on November 2020.
The game is a one-versus-four multiplayer, where one person is a savage killer and the others have to try and escape them. If the killer catches you, you will be sacrificed to a malevolent force called the Entity.
The new chapter of Dead by Daylight will come later this month.
