Recently, Spice has announced its new project with Dancehall Bangers due this year.
The Queen of Dancehall is now dominating the Jamaican music scene. The Queen of Dancehall is currently in the flow with the success of her mixtape- Captured. This year the Queen of Dancehall has some memorable performances this summer including her birthday bash at Mas Camp and Reggae Sumfest. As the Queen of Dancehall is on the move to release her next album, Spice doesn’t seem to slow down at any point. Spice is currently supporting her and making arrangements for the release of her new album.
During an interview with the Star Spice had told that when she released her Captured mixtape, she was overwhelmed by the response they got from it. Spice has further added that the album Captured has surpassed all her expectations. She said that she is willing to continue projects similar to Captured and continue to grow. Spice is currently working on a special project and hopes that her fans love it as much as they loved Captured.
She said that the success of her project Captured fueled her passion for dropping another one.
In the last November, Captured mixtape had occupied the Billboard Reggae Chart No. 1 spot with its debut. For two consecutive weeks, the Billboard Reggae Chart has held onto Captured at No. 1 spot.
Spice opined that due to the bad relationship between herself and her record, VP Records, she was unable to release any new albums or EPs.
