The next entrants of Marvel’s Phase 4 is getting ready
After the massive success of WandaVision, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is preparing to release their next Disney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Phase 4 of the MCU is packing on the hype with countless projects in various stages of development or pre-production. Two of those highly anticipated entries that will be making their live-action debut on Disney+ will be She-Hulk and Moon Knight.
During a recent interview with The Companion, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige gave a short update on both series. Read on.
Production status
Feige first gave an update on the shows that will be hitting the streamer soon, saying The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be coming on March 19, followed by Loki in June 11. After that comes their first animated series, What If…? He added that they are finishing up Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye is currently being filmed as well. In a few weeks, they will be starting She-Hulk, and a week or so after that, Moon Knight will start production.
The stories and returning characters
She-Hulk follows Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), a New York City lawyer, whose life changes after getting into an accident. Following the accident, she receives blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner, turning her into a different version of the Hulk. Mark Ruffalo will be returning as Banner/Hulk, and Tim Roth will be returning as the Abomination.
Moon Knight follows a complex and troubled vigilante Marc Spector (Oscar Isaac), who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The identities within him are distinct characters who are Egyptian gods. The series will also star May Calamawy and Ethan Hawke.
