Investigations are being conducted and police are checking whether the TikToker had received any death threats online
Yet another known face has been lost to suicide this month. 16-year-old TikTok star Siya Kakkar, who was a celebrity in the music sharing app, was found hanging from the ceiling fan at her home in Preet Vihar on Wednesday.

Her family members are still grieving, but Delhi Police has already commenced their investigations on the matter. As per reports from Dainik Jagran and Amar Ujala, it was said to the police that Siya had been threatened for her TikTok videos. The people behind this, and their reasons for threatening her remains to be seen.

Word from Kakkar’s Manager
Arjun Sarin, Siya’s manager in Delhi was interviewed regarding the death of his client and he said that she was a bright girl who always thought about what to do next. He said that her death is a great loss and never thought that she would be taking her own life. The manager had no information on whether Siya was facing any challenges professionally. Even in the last call they had, her voice had been normal.

He said that this might have something to do with her personal life and not professional. Sarin is part of a company named Fame Experts that manage a lot of artists, which include kids who gained popularity through TikTok, which has had a growing platform in India. He said that Siya had been a bright talent and that he will be visiting her residence later.
