The trailer of The Axis Unseen showed the mysterious main character clutching a bow and arrows and walking through some picturesque locations, while hunting and solving unknown clues. Monolithic structures, dark caves featuring massive skulls, and a huge wooden creature that looks like a lifeless Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy are seen in the trailer.

Purkeypile has stated that the events happen in a world trapped outside of time, and you will survive by upgrading your bow and senses. He added that the player must reach shelter before nightfall, because our character is being hunted by something as well.
