Super Junior’s Kyuhyun is preparing for his solo comeback!
Kyuhyun’s agency Label SJ shared the news on December 7, saying he is ready to drop his next album on January 2022. However, the singer has not decided the exact date for releasing the album. We can expect another announcement by the end of December.
The seasonal songs
The latest album will wrap up his four-season project, titled “PROJECT : 季” (PROJECT: Season). Kyuhyun had released singles that accompanied 3 major seasons so far: “Together” for Summer, “Coffee” for Spring, and “Moving On” for Winter.
“Moving On” came first, and told the story of a couple breaking up. The couple was played by actors Gong Myung and Chae Soo Bin. The song talked about staying strong even when the person you love won’t be next to you anymore.
Next came “Coffee,” on April 13, 2021. Gong Myung and Chae Soo Bin returns, with the song serving as a prequel to “Moving On.” The video showed how the couple met, with Gong Myung falling in love and getting jealous when his crush got flowers from another boy. The jealousy was so visible that she soon notices it as well.
His last song was “Together,” which came out in July to great commercial success. It had the theme of two friends played by Gong Myung and Chae Soo Bin falling in love as youngsters, and growing up as the song progresses.
Kyuhyun’s current role
Kyuhyun is additionally a judge on JTBC’s singing competition, Sing Again 2, and the first episode of the new season is ready to air at 9 pm KST on Monday.
