SM Entertainment Artists Go All Out With Impressive Halloween Costume Party

After a two-year hiatus, the party is back!

SM Entertainment takes over the internet with their annual Halloween party!

Every year, the South Korean talent agency hosts an exclusive Halloween party for its members, and the artists employed under them show up dressed as iconic characters. The last party took place in 2018, with nothing happening in 2019 for some unknown reason, and 2020 mostly due to the pandemic. But they sure made up for lost time with this one!

The party took place on October 29th, and SM Entertainment is finally uploading all the photos and videos of the guests on their official Instagram account. The SMTOWN Wonderland party always had guests show up in flawless costumes. Here are some of the best costumes we found this year.

1. Jungwoo and Taeyong as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen

Definitely the joint winners of this year’s party. As Twilight‘s Edward and Bella, NCT’s Jungwoo and Taeyong grabbed eyeballs. Jungwoo in particular could fool anyone into thinking he was an actual girl, and if there was a Trick-or-Treat contest, he would’ve won in that as well.

2. aespa’s Giselle as Harley Quinn

Giselle made the fangirls go crazy, and may have earned some new fanboys as well, after showing up as DC charcter Harley Quinn. She dressed up as in the modern look from Suicide Squad and completed her look with the iconic baseball bat.

3. NCT’s Chenle as The Nun

With one of the scariest costumes of this year, Chenle deserves to be in the list of best costumes. Chenle dressed up as Valak the nun from the Conjuring movies and paired his look with some red paint dripping off his mouth to appear extra scary.

4. WayV’s YangYang as Kaneki Ken

As the iconic protagonist of Tokyo Ghoul, YangYang looks like he’s in the midst of shooting an actual live-action movie.

5. WayV’s Kun as Kaonashi

Kun definitely made fans laugh and admire his look as Kaonashi (No-Face) from the classic Ghibli film, Spirited Away. His introduction video was also one of the funniest, with all the expressions that the spirit makes whenever it showed up.
