Chris and wife Deanna’s daughter was found dead in her Tennessee home on Friday by the local police
Chris Daughtry has cancelled all his current commitments to be with his family after the tragic death of his daughter, Hannah.
The 25-year-old daughter of Chris Daughtry was found dead at her home in Fentress County, Tennessee, by local police on Friday. The cause of tragic death is still unknown.
Chris Daughtry, 41, shared a picture of Hannah on Instagram and said that he is still processing the last 24 hours, and that he is absolutely devastated and heartbroken. He mentioned that he recently lost his mother to cancer, but was blessed to get the chance to say goodbye. He was dealing with his mother’s loss privately, but when it came to Hannah, they never got to say goodbye, and said it was a huge hit to their family.
He thanked his fans and close friends for the condolences, and that they appreciated them. He said that he will be with his family as they try to heal from all these losses.
Chris’s wife Deanna also posted a picture of Hannah and shared a touching tribute. Hannah and her brother Griffin are Deanna’s children from a previous relationship. She shares twins Adalynn Rose and Noah James, 10, with Chris.
The singer’s representative requested people to respect the family’s privacy and that they will share updates as soon as they will be able to. He also mentioned that his concert dates will be changed indefinitely.
Chris Daughtry and his band Daughtry had just began touring on November 3rd. They stopped at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville before traveling to Providence, Rhode Island; Portland, Maine; Niagara Falls, New York; and Syracuse, New York. Their next stop was at Atlantic City in New Jersey before the tragedy happened.
