Paramore is Back With an Exciting Album After a Long Hiatus of 4 Years!

The band is ready with a new album!

The Paramore band is back again with a new album “This is why”. The Nashville-based band released its first new album after a gap from 2017. The album “This is why” is set to be released through Atlantic Records on February 10, 2023.

Paramore is an American rock band formed in 2007. The band consists of 3 members currently, The lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York, and drummer Zac Ferro. The lead vocalist Hayley Williams and guitarist Taylor York is the founder of the band, Paramore, while Taylor signed for the band later.

The band is signed to Fueled by Ramen, a subordinate of Atlantic Records but both of these are owned by Warner Music Group. The debut album of Paramore was All we know is falling in 2005, which hit 4th place on the UK rock chart.

This is Why is the first album that is being released since 2017. When asked about the new album Paramore, founder and lead vocalist said in an interview that getting back into a world with a cultural landscape is difficult and the new song is about that only.

Standing again after tough times

Hayley Williams further admitted that she was very tired from writing lyrics only and it was all thanks to Taylor York who had convinced her as well as Zac Ferror for another try, which resulted in the title track of the whole album. She said that this is why the last album that they wrote from the record was.

This is Why

The visual counterpart of This is why is directed by Turnstile’s Brendan Yates and filmed in Malibu. The music video features all three members of the Paramore band. The album This is Why consists of 10 new songs from the band with a cover shot by Zachary Gray. The band is set to go on their first tour after a long hiatus of 4months.
