Disney+ Day was All About Marvel Shows’ Announcement & First Look Reveal Taking Internet by Storm

The Disney+ Day 2021 special is currently streaming

Yesterday’s Disney+ Day had major announcements for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The streamer celebrated two years, and with it rolled a bunch of announcements and sneak peaks of its upcoming shows. The Marvel Cinematic Universe had 12 titles that will be coming out in 2022 and beyond. We will give a brief intro about each, but if you need to see it in person, sign up for Disney+ right now.

Now, let’s see all the announcements.

1. X-Men 97

The classic TV show is back, but with new stories but retaining the same nostalgia. The series is written and executive produced by Beau DeMayo, and will arrive in 2023.

2. Moon Knight

An action-adventure series about a vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. Clad in a white costume, Marc Spector (Oscar Isaac) tackles criminals and his inner self as he embraces the power of the moon god, Khonshu. Moon Knight will arrive in 2022.

3. She-Hulk

Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) is a lawyer who handles superhuman-oriented legal cases. But she has her own incredible secret which she uses for doing good. She-Hulk arrives in 2022.

4. Ms. Marvel

Viewers will be introduced to Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), a 16-year-old Pakistani American who lives in New Jersey. Always a fan of Captain Marvel, Kamala finds out one day that she has got super powers as well. Ms. Marvel releases in 2022.

5. What If…? Season 2

After stopping Ultron, the Watcher is back to observe new heroes and explore other worlds in this ever-expanding Multiverse. There is no official release date yet for What If…? Season 2.

6. Echo

Echo, (Alaqua Cox) who will make her debut in Hawkeye will get her solo series soon.

7. Spider-Man: Freshman Year

An all-new animated series where we see Peter Parker on his way to become the MCU’s Spider-Man. It promises to have an art style that will resemble Spidey’s early days. Release date is unknown.

8. I Am Groot

A series of shorts where we see Baby Groot growing up, and being a troublemaker among the cosmos. It is expected to release in late 2022 or 2023.

9. Ironheart

The MCU’s all-new Iron Man Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) will make her debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever before having her own solo outing. Release date of Ironheart is unknown.

10. Agatha: House of Harkness

WandaVision‘s very own Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) returns to play the witch who briefly posed a threat to Wanda. Release date unknown.

11. Secret Invasion

Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn return as Nick Fury and Skrull Talos and explores a bigger storyline involving the Skrulls. Secret Invasion will arrive in 2022.

12. Marvel Zombies

What we saw in What If…? was but the tip of the ice berg. The story reimagines the Marvel Universe where a new set of heroes battle an ever-increasing army of zombies. Release date is unknown.
