Michael B. Jordan announced Coach’s CitySole sneaker

On 3rd February Coach’s CitySole sneaker was unveiled and the campaign features actor Michael B. Jordan. The whole collection is being launched on Monday. In the advertisement both the actor and the Coach ambassador is seen wearing the CitySole Colorblock Court style in the blue must grey colour. Jordan stated that sneakers are a wardrobe staple for him. He further says that as someone who grew up around New York and is constantly on the go, Coach CitySole’s blend of fashion and comfort is the right balance for an everyday sneaker wearer like him.

For more than a year Jordan has been in collaboration with Coach. Coach x Michael B. Jordan footwear, apparel and accessories collection were revealed in last fall. In September 2018, Jordan became the first face of the global menswear collection.

New CitySole sneakers footwear

The footwear sneakers were made available from Monday at 9 a.m. at Coach.com, 700 brand stores worldwide and at 175 Macy locations. The Coach Ambassador also showed the CitySole Court style in chalk/black camel colour in the Super Bowl halftime show. Coach CitySole is a new footwear collection which aims to provide comfort and flexibility minimizing impact and weight.

The Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers states that he have always been inspired by the people and unique energy of their hometown, New York. CitySole was also created with that in mind. It’s a collection for people who live always-on, spontaneous and adventurous lives.

The campaign also features Jennifer Lopez who said,”When you grow up in New York, sneakers are such a big part of your lifestyle because you have to pound the pavement.Coach CitySole is perfect for my lifestyle. They can be dressed up and dressed down, and can be functional but also super fashionable.”
