A popular snippet from the junket interview was when Harry Styles was saying, “My favorite thing about the movie is that it feels like a movie…” but the camera was zooming on the lifeless eyes of Chris Pine. One of the hilarious comments to that clip was from a Twitter user who said, “You can almost see the screams catching in his throat.”

Another series of images that have already spawned hundreds of memes are of Pine looking towards the ceiling, closely examining the cap on his water bottle, staring at nowhere in particular, and finally letting his eyeballs fully roll back into his head. A user commented, “Chris Pine rethinking his entire life decisions that lead him to this point.”

Feuds During Press

The movie has been trending a lot since the start of the year. Among these were feuds happening among the cast and crew, namely, director Olivia Wilde and lead star Florence Pugh. There were rumors that Pugh was actively avoiding Wilde since she got to know about her relationship with Harry Styles at a time when she was still married to ex-husband Jason Sudeikis. Then there was the news of Wilde fabricating stories about Shia LaBeouf, who almost played Styles’ role.

Chris Pine and Styles had to clear the air after a viral clip seemingly showed styles spitting on Pine before taking his seat. Either way, the memes will be circulating for a while.
