Fans who were waiting anxiously for the next season were left disappointed and fuming with this sudden turn of the events about which they had no clue even the cast was clueless about this sudden change in plan. But now, there is a new update, some happy news for the fans.

Release

It was speculated earlier that Season 3 will come all at once in 2020, which was soon confirmed by Netflix UK. As per reports, the show is expected to release internationally in May 2020, however, some argue that it can release even in June 2020 with the conclusion season 3 on CW in May 2020. Some even hope for an early arrival i.e. March 2020.

The reason behind the delay

It was claimed that the deal between CW and Netflix that allows international viewers to access the channel’s highly popular and acclaimed content, was signed in 2011 and renewed in 2016, had expired. The plans for renewal looked grim with the arrival of several other broadcasters like Warner Bros. and CBS.

Another claim that was making the news was from the actor Rafael de la Fuente who plays Sam Jones in the show, he said that time that there was talk that the season might be uploaded all at once when it finishes airing here in the US on The CW because the show apparently does better when people can binge it.

Now, it seems like that things have finally fallen into place and fans have got the reason to rejoice.
