Justice League Starts Trending as Fans Urge WB to Restore the Snyderverse

Fans are not done demanding what they want

A year after the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, fans started campaigning once again for the director’s vision to be completed. The movie released exclusively on HBO Max on March 18, 2021, and fans got to see something they never expected to see. Not only was the 4-hour film miles better than the theatrical cut, it also showed the immense possibilities the series can have.

Ahead of the movie’s release, WB CEO Ann Sarnoff announced that there will be no further sequels. Justice League will mark the end of the trilogy that began with 2013’s Man of Steel. Henry Cavill’s future as Superman is still doubtful, and Ben Affleck stated that he’s done being Batman. However, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, and Ezra Miller’s Flash continues to be in the DCEU.

But on the film’s anniversary, actor Wayne Carr, originally cast as Green Lantern John Stewart, shared a deleted image of himself. Seeing this, fans returned to social media to campaign for the rest of the Snyder movies.

We are aware like any other fan that Warner Bros. is stubbornly refusing to complete Snyder’s vision. They even refused to share the success of the Snyder Cut on HBO Max, even though various sources state that it did well. Meanwhile, they are trying to move the DCEU in a less dark direction, as it is obvious they want to be like Marvel Studios.

The spirit of Snyder still lives in the DCEU, and fans still believe he will return to complete his franchise. The Snyder Cut took 4 years to be made. Maybe we can get the rest if we continue demanding for them.
