But the new governess soon finds out that the manor has its share of dark secrets of love and loss. The story will be about a young boy named Miles who gets expelled from boarding school and returns to his family home. Things soon take a turn for the worst when the governess, the housekeeper and Miles’ little sister Flora become the prime targets of the ghosts of a man and woman who haunts the manor. The story will follow a true gothic romance style.

The producing partners Flanagan and Macy had taken inspiration from Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw, and gave the original story, which was published in 1898, a modern touch. The other stars of the second season will be Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, and Tahirah Sharif. As you can see, most of the cast members from the first season will be returning. The show has been produced by Flanagan and Macy for Intrepid Pictures, along with Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television.
