In August, there came word that a new character is going to be introduced, called Cal. Cal is described to be a “17-year-old non-binary stoner kid.”and will be recurring role. The producers are now scouting for a non-binary or genderqueer actor to play the role.

Aside from that, we also have a lot of questions on the future of the kids from Moordale Secondary School. And the first question is: Will Otis and Maeve find love? The two clearly have feelings for each other, but fate has other plans. Towards the end of season two, Otis declares his feelings for Maeve through voicemail while she’s busy competing for the school quiz competition, but then her mother got taken away by social services and she never got to hear it.

Also, Isaac, the disabled boy who lives in the caravan next to Maeve hears it, and then deleted it. So get ready to see a lot more of that “will they, won’t they?” in season 3, or something unexpected might happen.
