Who survived in the crossover episode? Details inside.
The much-anticipated crossover of Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy finally premiered on Thursday, 23rd January. An episode that features the doctors and firefighters working together to save their co-workers.
The two-hour special crossover episode was the continuation of Grey’s Anatomy’s season 16 finale episode before the show went for its fall break. The final moments of the episodes had witnessed a car crashing into a basement bar where characters from both the shows had come to grab a drink.
The collision of two separate worlds
Now, the crossover episode continues from the aftermath of the car crash which unfortunately caused a severe loss to the building; threatening the lives of many stuck inside. People were struggling inside for survival under the unstable structure. While firefighters came to rescue everyone, the doctors inside are attending the injured, which of course isn’t easy.
What does the crossover episode holds?
The episode got darker and messy with every passing moment as we were made to remember a line from season 3 “Yeah, that’s not very good,” because nothing seemed good for the people trapped in there.
But the main question that has been hovering everyone’s mind, is that who will survive the bar crash? And honestly, there isn’t a definite answer for it yet as the creator of the show Krista Vernoff said that people should be worried about every single character trapped inside Joe’s bar as every one of them was under the radar of writers.
The second hour which is Grey’s Anatomy’s episode, ‘Help Me Through The Night’ showcased a number of doctors successfully fought to survive after that car crash. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) grieved the loss of her unborn child and Teddy (Kim Raver) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) make a big step forward in their relationship. Vernoff describes the loss of Bailey’s unborn as something so potent that it moved the team to tears while finalising the draft.
Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy air on ABC on Thursday at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM respectively.
