Squid Game‘s Wi Ha Joon is a busy man!
The actor has signed up for a new drama on November 18, which is tentatively titled “K Project.” Prior to this, it was called “Gyeongseong Creature”. He will play the role of Kwon Joon Taek, the lead character’s best friend. We had reports earlier this year that What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? star Park Seo Joon was in talks for the lead character Jan Tae Sang. The World of the Married star Han So Hee is also in talks for an unknown role.
About the drama
The story is one about survival and human dignity. It’s believed to take place during the conflicts between Korea and Japan, and centres around the youth who had their sovereignty and human rights taken from them. They had to risk their lives for fulfilling basic goals and necessities. Wi Ha Joon’s character Kwon Joon Taek is one who is born into a wealthy family, but grows up hating his family as the Japanese were the source of their wealth. He relates to Jang Tae Sang who had been strictly against the Japanese as well, and the two become good friends.
The story is written by Kang Eun Kyung (Dr. Romantic), and directed by Jung Dong Yoon of Stove League.

The actor is ready to unleash the madness in tvN’s upcoming drama Bad and Crazy, a story of redemption where a crazy but capable villain meets an equally crazy hero who is hell-bent on dealing out justice. Wi Ha Joon plays the hero.
