Lori Loughlin in When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas

American Actress and producer Lori Loughlin is making her comeback on TV. The first glimpse of Loughlin has arrived on the TV  GAC Family (Great American Country) has released the short look of their show When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas. It is season 2 of the series which will have a two-part premiere.  The show is the spin-off series of When Calls the Heart. The actress will be back after her college admissions scandal in 2019 where she was charged. 

The first look features herself and her co-star Carter Ryan. She will reprise her role as Abigail Stanton in the Hallmark series. The series will premiere on 18th December. Daniel Lissing whose character of When Heart Calls Jack Thornton died will also appear in Season 2. 

The college admissions scandal

Lori was last seen on TV playing her role in Season 6 of the original Hallmark series. She is known for her portrayal as Aunt Becky in ABC sitcom Full House and its sequel Fuller House. She was sentenced to jail time for two months for her role in the admissions scandal.

The admissions scandal put a very bright light on some celebrities who were involved in paying college officials for their kid’s college admissions. Loughlin and her husband reportedly paid half a million dollars for their daughter, Olivia Jade, to get into USC. The actress is still on probation but has been given an allowance to travel for the production project.

The actress was fired by Hallmark channel in the wake of Operation Varsity Blues, which exposed the group of wealthy parents who allegedly paid bribes to college officials. Along with Loughlin, many of the celebrities and other wealthy parents plead guilty.
