Tom Holland Gets a ’70s Look For New Apple TV+ Series

Holland will star in the anthology series, The Crowded Room

Tom Holland is currently filming his next project – an Apple TV+ series called The Crowded Room. The 25-year-old star became an even bigger sensation after Spider-Man: No Way Home broke major records in December. After that, he starred in another Sony hit, Uncharted. The actor said he will be taking a break soon, but before that, he will work on the Apple show. And now, we have some images taken from set.

The images were shared by Digital Spy, and showed Holland in full costume. We can finally understand why the actor was seen sporting longer hair since November. He is seen wearing a ’70s attire and embodies the fashion. In the images, we see him on a dirty city sidewalk that is littered with trash. Holland is accompanied by his co star Sasha Lane (Loki). There are posters of Bob Marley and the Wailers on the walls, with retro cars passing. The set photos provide no clue on the type of scene Holland is filming. But it is clear that the actor will be doing a very distinct role. Aside from appearing as Spider-Man, Tom has done unique roles, and made sure not to get typecast. Some examples include In the Heart of the Sea, The Devil All The Time, and Cherry.

Milligan was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder (DID). Aside from Holland and Lane, the series stars Emmy Rossum, Emma Laird, and Christopher Abbott. The series will come out sometime in 2023.
