The Flash series is even rumoured to have season 9 in development
The Flash has now sped into the eighth season, and we finally have a trailer for the next episode. Flash is the second DC comics character to be adapted by the television network following Green Arrow. And now, it is on its way to become the longest-running series in the Arrowverse. Let’s now look at what’s in store.
The Flash Season 8 Story Details
The trailer gave us glimpses from important events from what has happened all along with the upcoming events from season 8. We see Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) tell Barry (Grabt Gustin) to believe in himself and run into the unknown. In season 8, episode 11, titled ‘Resurrection,’ Team Flash and the fans expected to see the return of Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell). However, Deathstorm and the bloodthristy Black Flame appears instead. Showrunner Eric Wallace teases that things will get darker for Central City and its heroes.
We are yet to find out the true intentions for Deathstorm, but we can expect him to land a devastating blow on Team Flash. Wallace revealed that we will get to know his plan and the consequences on the next episode, ‘Death Rises.’ But what he shared next was interesting. Wallace states that he may not be back for what people think. Sometimes, the bigger the villain, the simpler the motivation. Wallace also admitted that when he pitched this storyline, the other execs said it sounded like a horror movie. So the new storylines will be The Flash‘s own version of a horror series.
The Flash Season 8 Episode 12 Release Date
We are not far away from the next episode’s release date. Episode 12 will release on the CW App on April 27.
