The second season of the family drama has started streaming from July 2

The new season of Carl Weber’s The Family Business has started streaming on BET+ and Amazon Prime Video from Thursday, July 2. Season 1 had aired on the BET linear network and has moved on to BET+. All six episodes were released together.

The story

The series is based on the bestselling crime drama novel series by Carl Weber, and the story revolves around the Duncans, who is a reputed and closely knit family that owns and operates an exotic car dealership by day and conducts certain illegal business deals by night.

The second season picks up where season one ended, and we will be seeing the Duncans working on settling the ongoing tensions between their rivals The Zunigas. The patriarch L.C. Duncan and eldest son Orlando starts expanding their business by selling their drug ‘heat’, but as they grow more and more successful, they invite the attention of some old and new enemies.

The show’s cast include Ernie Hudson, Valarie Pettiford, Darrin DeWitt Henson, Javicia Leslie, Sean Ringgold, Tami Roman, Miguel A. Nunez, Arrington Foster, KJ Smith, Dylan Weber, Yadi Valerio and Emilio Rivera, who will be returning to play their characters from season 1.
