The Crown is in another controversy
The Crown Season 5 will release on 9 November, and before its release the show is already in many controversies. BBC journalist Martin Bashir who interviewed Diana, Princess of Wales, and it was later revealed that Mr. Bashir deceived princess Diana’s brothers, Charles, Earl spencer to obtain the interview.
Season 5 of series will arrive soon, and it will also show Princess Diana’s BBC interview with Mr. Bashir, Prasanna Puwanarajah will play his character, who recently made a comment on Bashir and Diana controversy the actor defended the journalist and said that “Bashir was a victim of racism at BBC”.

The crown is Netflix’s Original drama series, which shows the stories of Royal palace and its people. it’s great show with no doubt, but it is also one of the most controversial shows since its first season. in the upcoming season princess Diana’s story will come to an end but the production won’t show her brutal death scene.
The famous interview, where Diana opened up about her marriage with Prince Charles where she admitted that it was not a happy marriage, and “there were three people who were in their marriage” which revealed that prince Charles was cheating on Diana, would be show in this season.
Prasanna Puwanarajah on Martin Bashir
Prasanna Puwanarajah will play the role of Martin Bashir in season 5, and the actor recently made some statements defending the former BBC journalist and called him a victim.
“Bashir was an outsider at BBC and became a victim of racism, his ambitious actions were documented, and subterfuge detected in his case, Puwanaraja defended the decision of bringing the ‘panorama interview’ on screen, “the whole events happened in past are the parts of our history and we should show those dramatic moments to our audience”.
Meanwhile, Matt Wiessler reacted to Puwanarajah’s claim and said because “I blew the whistle Bashir’s deception was detected and the race have nothing to do with detection”.
